TFD OS Announces Partnership with n-Able
TFD OS is pleased to announce a new partnership with n-Able's monitoring, security, and support tool suites, to provide customers a more comprehensive and immediate service. Managed Services customers will have access to several exciting, new helpdesk support features.
TFD Acquires OCS
In January of 2007, TFD Group of Monterey, California, acquired Open Computer Systems from former owner Rob Langhorne. TFD integrated Open Computer Systems into the TFD parent company as TFD Open Systems, a professional IT and business consulting division. TFD Open Systems relocated its offices from Pacific Grove to the main TFD offices, located on Garden Court in Monterey.
Monterey Jazz Festival
Monterey Jazz Festival has chosen TFD Open Systems to administer their wireless communications at the Festival site. “It’s a challenge to help move the entire operation from its year-round location to the Fairgrounds a few weeks before the festival begins,” says Rob Langhorne, Director of Software Development at TFD and former OCS owner.
“The Jazz Festival needs real enterprise level computer operations”, concludes Langhorne, “and with no interruption -- while we move every phone and computer a couple of miles away on our magic carpet. We're glad to be part of the music and the magic ”
